Default whats the deal on wheel spacers?

Do people just get them so their back tires stick out more?

Default RE: whats the deal on wheel spacers?

I have 5/8" wheels spacers on all four wheels. I got them to push the tires out more so they didn't look so tucked in. I'm running 18x8.5 bullitts and they have a 50mm offset, which makes them recess under the car a little too much for my taste.

I have spacers on my rear tires because my coilovers will rub against my 30" MT tires without them...

When my street tires are on (305/45-18 Nittos on Billits) - I take the spacers off.

Spacer are for if you need them IMO.

It may be old school, I'm old, but back in day you may have wanted spacers to get the right "off set" for the new/replacement/custom wheel, the wrong off set could equate to more wear and tear on the spindle and suspension parts.

Spacers were also designed to give the car a wider stance and make it more stable into turns, Eibach makes the best ones...
