Default Window Moleskin Disaster!!

Hi All,
YesterdayI started replacing the "velcro" window wiper with the Moleskin kit as recommended by Taco Bill. His instructions were better than the instructions that came with the moleskin. Anyway I got the drivers door done and removed the pasenger door molding, no problem, yet.
I heated up the "velcro" with a hair dryer and started pealing back the "velcro". It was hard to do on the drivers door but this side was really stuck! I was patient and used the dryer and started to peel off the velcro. Within 1.5 inches the rubber started to tear as the velcro was so well attached!!!!!I went and bought some 3M adhesive to re-glue the velcro back down.Half of the rubber is on the velcro and the other half is on the now thin molding. I was having the windows tinted on Monday but now I'm stuck. Howam I going to remove the velcro? Could I just glue the moleskin on top of the velcro? I'm thinking that that would not work for long. Can I sand off the velcro? Any advice would be appreciated.

Try and see if your tint shop will take care of the Moleskin. Just had mine done, they provided the material and installed along with the tint. Its worth a try if you get desperate
