Default New exhaust--need help

Ok, I've pretty much decided what I'm doing with my exhaust.

I have the Bassani Race Axle Backs on and it sounds better than stock...that being said, it's still too quiet.

I didn't want to go with an O/R pipe so here's my idea: I'm planning on taking the stock cats off and replacing them with high flow cats. Then I'll take the axle back bassani mufflers off and just have pipe put in their place.

Anybody have any idea what it will sound like. I would imagine it won't sound much different out the back than SLP loudmouths, since it's just gong to be pipe. I'm leaving the stock H pipe and just replacing the cats with high flows.

It seems like the best option for sound without having an O/R pipe or an expensive setup from Bassani/Corsa

Why don't you want an o/r pipe? Emissions laws in your state?

I have the same Bassani exhaust as you and I added the O/R h-pipe and some magnaflow resonators and it sounds great to me. JMO
