Thanks for the compliments. I used DupliColor engine enamel in Ford Red. Removed everything, sanded it all really good, taped it up, 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, and 3 coats of clear.

I know I may get 100 different suggestions, but what are the best looking hood struts out there (functional as well)? I would probably go with a polished finish to match the rest of the stuff.
MRT/CDC (same part) look the best and don't constrict access to the engine at all. Easy install and no drilling needed. I'm going to take off the labels.

Looks great, and I completely agree about the head lights, they just dont go with that grill you have, mabe if it was an all black grill it would look better, but as far as "functional" hood struts I dont think any of them really are that functional, mostly for looks.

REDLINE HOOD STRUTS!!!! They are by far the best looking, cleanest, and easiest to install. Took me about 15 minutes to put them on and they make both polished and black.

Well, I was taking my time, being very careful, and drinking a beer after each bolt. LOL I removed everything in about an hour and a half to 2 hours, then painted everything the next day, let it sit over night, and installed the next day (used the same beer method).
