Like the title says. Who's really got the "best" tunes? For sake of arguement and to keep things fair lets call the car in question a S197 GT Automatic with only your basic mods (C&L or JLT intake, Axle Back exhaust)

Cost of tune, nor location of the company has any effect on the choices here BTW.

I hear alot about Bamachips and his excellence with automatics, but I wanna hear firsthand experience from everyone only.

Don't want to rain in your parade but most of us has taken some route, either one, and that is the best for each of us, so unless you find someone that actually had three different tunes for a specific setup and ran them on a dyno, there is no contest.

^ i understand that, but im sure there are people here who have used tunes from at least 2 of the above mentioned companies and can say "company A seemed better than company B"

Yeah, let me explain to you how this is going to go down:

People with a Bama tune will vote for Bama.
People with a Brenspeed tune will vote for Brenspeed.
People with a VMP Tune will vote for VMP.

Much arguing followed by some ridiculous horsepower claims will ensue.

I think you get the idea.

yeah, this is only applicable to people who have had all three tunes on the same car with the same mods. that is a rare thing.

well to be honest, rather then buy 2 or 3 from a single tuner im seriously contemplating buying a single 87 tune from each and then whoever is the best i'd buy a 93 from as well.

anyone care to donate in the name of putting these mythical questions to rest??? [8D]

You won't be able to tell the difference between the 87 tunes,imo. Too low an octane, shift points and firmness though? This poll is pretty much worhtless. like above, people will vote for what they have. I have a brenspeed 92 tune and if I could go back and do it all again? I'd pick up a single tune file 92 race from Doug for $50.

I used to have both Brenspeed and VMP 91 Octane tunes.....

Shell Gas = VMP was stonger
Chevron Gas = Brenspeed was stronger

Currently running VMP tune with delete plates......

I started off with Brenspeed's 93 tune, switched to Bama's 93 Race and am loving it!
