I'd be fine with that, it's in perfect condition. Send me an email at thumpermx113 @ yahoo dot com.

This is a sound clip of it with a O/R H Pipe.

I still can't decide if I want a H or X Pipe.

Dont lower the car and get a 40 series tire with those 20"s in the rear of the car esp. Trust me it will fill the wheel well better and compensate for lack of the drop and help prevent exhaust scraping issues.... I have been lucky so far and I am in Detroit area...Nitto invo's or toyo s/t's (truck tire)...see this link

You can try Cervini's Complete Exhaust setup... I just put one on my V6 and it honestly sounds like a V8 now... only problem Is now I have to get new rims and tires, because the exhaust is so low to the ground with my 16" rims that its litterally 2 inches from touch the ground... I am hoping 20" rims will fix that... The exhaust sounds great it comes complete with side skirts and everything. (dual side exhausts)...

Sorry back to OP's topic!

go w/ the o/r x pipe. w/ straight thru mufflers, the x pipe sounds better.

Thumper, What ever you decide please post some audio. I am currently running a x-pipe with muffler deletes and I want to quite it down a bit, but I can't decide on a axelback, a resonator, or a mid muffler. Thanks.

if you want a TONE to it, you're not going to get it by removing the cats.

just about any muffler you put behind an o/r pipe on these cars will just produce noise, not a smooth sound. these 05+s really sound like assballs without cats.

mike.. i had this same problem.. (with the cutouts..) they were just getting old.. it was sure as hell loud.. but, thats it.. just loud.. i wanted more of a toned sound for driving..

so i bought the pypes mid mufflers.. drove around with those and left my high flow cats on (SLP modular x pipe.. can switch between cats or off-road).. and the sound was good.. but too quiet for me.. so on monday, i went and had a rattle fixed and while he was under there, had him take out my cats and put the straight pipe in there.. OMGGG.. i dont even bother with my cutouts anymore..

the sound is deffinately more of a performance sound rather then a 70's carburetted big block.. (or atleast my impression of what i was trying to achieve? [&:])... but ya bro.. sounds soooo good.. if you want to hear it.. call me up or somethign and we can meet and you can hear it..

How does your setup sound with the Bassani catted X and (straight through?) Borla's? I was wondering because I'm planning to get the catted X from Bassani, and I already have SLP LM's. Do you have any sound clips?

o/r mid pipes sound good as hell , *** ball is just his personal opinion and I personally think his set up sounds like *** *****.

Irun slp and o/r x, have had macs with both o/r pipes and it sounds better then borlas and a catted mid pipe anyday and everyday of the week.

I suggest pypes MM system with the same slp on, there basically tips.
