How do I remove my 05 GT ratcheting alternator pulley and install my Saleen underdrive pulley. Is there a special tool to take it off. This job is killing me.[:@][:@]

My saleen supercharger kit came with the special socket to fit in the center of the pulley. IT IS A REAL PAIN like you said. You definately need that special socket for the pulley nut.

Yes, you need the special socket that should have come with the kit...and you NEED an impact gun or you'll kill yourself. OH, and mine was a left hand threaded. Another member's pulley was right hand threaded, so go figure. So if it doesn't come off in the first try, reverse the gun, (impact, of course).
