spark plugs at 23,000 miles
i fianlly decided to try and remove my plugs today.i cleaned all the dirt from around the plugs, removed the coils and soaked all the plugs with pb blaster and let them soak for about 30 minutes. 6 came out easy and 2 had to soak a little longer.i removed them with the engine cold.they had a light coating of carbon but not too bad.i cleaned and reinstalled them without any anti seize. i plan to put some champions in soon. i work in a auto shop, so i hooked up our intake cleaner and ran 2 cans of bg intake cleaner through the intake. i also ran a couple of cans of bg 44k cleaner in the tank before i changed the plugs.this may have helped but i can`t say for sure, it couldn`t hurt to run some cleaner through the before changing the plugs.overall the job went alot quicker than expected, not nearly as hard as some of the otherplug changing jobs that i`ve had to do.

are the champions actually any good? they've been crap plugs for pretty much all other cars for as long as i can remember. every shop or mechanic i have ever talked to said they use autolites on every vehicle they work on

I changed mine this weekend as well and replaced them with the Champions and added the anti-seize. I changed the plugs at 6500 miles and used PB Blaster to soak the plugs before trying to remove them. They came out without too much trouble, but I was suprised at the amount of carbon build-up.

i have 6900 miles ..should i change mine now?
I have heard about some problems with the plugs..what should i use..part number..
Should i run a cooler plug? Can i do it or just have the dealer deal with it?
