I did the duplicolor spray about two years ago. I prepped the hell out of them, and they still look new. Good prepping is the key.

Prep is the key, period!
I use single stage Acrylic Enamel with hardener.
My prep technique is kinda crude but never fails.
I simply mask everything with aluminum foil (brake lines, spindle etc...), then I get a small cup of Lacquer Thinner and I brush the caliper with it so the grease and other contaminants dissipate. At that point, the caliper looks ugly and not uniform in color...
Doesn't matter, what ever cr@p is in there, is melted by the Thinner and provide a perfect adhesion promoter, if you will.
I then spray the color (very low pressure) and Voila, done for good!
If you don't have compressed air, apply the paint with a brush. Works just as good on rough surfaces.
Not conventional at all, but you guys should know me by now.

I sprayed mine with Dupicolor Engine enamel and haven't had any problems at all. Dried slower and stay nice and smooth.

there ya go, new Riken Raptor 255/50 R17's (less than 90.00 each + shipping from TireSavings.com). New "Cliffhanger" rotors from an ebay store, zinc coated and i REALLY like that the slots go all the way to the edge to actually let water / debris / gasses escape..... got the 4 rotors and 4 Hawk HPS pads (and stainless front brake lines that ended up being for an 03-04 cobra so i gotta send em back) for 420.00 shipped.
