Default CDC pod with Stewart Warner boost guage - It doesn't fit!

I am trying to install my gauges, and I have run into a problem. The Stewart Warner boost gauge doesn't fit with the CDC dash pod unless I rotate the gauge. The fittings that attach the hose at the bottom of the gauge hits the top of the dash. I have to rotate the whole gauge to get clearance to mount it.

I think I've seen someone else hit this issue, but I can't find the post. Does anyone with this setup have a solution?
