Anyone ever have Cervini's fitment problems?
The reason i ask is i just picked up a brand new Cervinis front bumper for a $100 at a swap meet. its still the yellow plastic color and im wanting to get it painted pretty soon. My question is: Is it mandatory to pre fit these things before install? Has anyone ever run into fitment problems with one? i really really dont wanna take my whole front end apart just to fit it but if thats what it takes i will. Thanks in advance
btw im super freakin excited to get it done[sm=happybounce.gif], anyone have pictures of what one looks like with out the matching side skirts?

I didn't have any fitment issues with my Cervini parts.....matter of fact, my body shop man was very complimentary of their products.
He still, however, prefitted the parts to make sure everything would match up well.
If you got a Cervini part for $100.....you did awesome~!

i would say your fine! me and my dad just painted the front bumper and hood because they are pretty much stock replacements, same bolts, same mounts, same everything. We installed the front bumper last week and it fit PERFECT!

I think you will be fine if you dont...I didnt pre fit my front bumper and it fit like a glove when I installed it...I think most people will agree Cervinis has a rep for perfect fitment

I have not seen one without the side skirts but I am sure it can be done! SaddleUp has different side skirts and her kit looks awesome with the mix of parts from different companies! I cant imagine it would be much for new painted side skirts of your own choosing but the front might look to low from the side in comparison. I am sure others will agree with me on that. I have seen the side skirts and the factory bumper and it looks decent but not the other way around.....

If you find them at a swap or lucky enough to find them cheap but good shape online (ebay) you can get them for a deal too! If it is the Cervinis C-series front bumper cover for the new model stangs it will look off from the side as that bumper makes the car look lowered...I will look for a pic to show that.....
This is with the stock suspension and NO lowering...just the kit!

I wanted to keep my Borlas in the back, so I chose to go with the straight side skirts from Street Scene.......
This could be an option for you. I agree that the Cervini front bumper will hang a little too low to look right with the stock side skirts.
