i'm pretty sure its a .020 overbore (283ci i think?), billet pistons, manley h-beams, and forged crank, 8 bolt mains, ported heads, stock cams, accufab t/b. that's all i know.
its a daily driver. he had 3 s197 mustang GT's, 2 light blue (one is the beast one, the other's stock) and a red one that got totalled by a dumbass running a light.
here's a video, the car was running a super safe tune and pullied way the **** down. no nitrous. the car was making like 500ish or something like that in this state of tune (only 8 lbs). in the first part of the video he's not even close to flooring it. you can tell when he gives it a little more juice, watch the fuzzy dice. this was all done on MT/ET streets aired down to like 15 PSI, so keep that in mind.

RE: 990 horses.
If you are going for that kind of horsepower you won't be driving it everyday. It will be strickly a drag car. I think 500 maybe 600 would be good for everyday. Not many cars going to whoop up on you with 500 ponies at the rear wheels.

RE: 990 horses.
I have a 700hp combo being built that isduplicate of one this same shop built a little while ago that will be a daily driver. 1000hp daily driver can be had with the right amount of money. Tge 725 hp version Super snake is being hailed as a daily driver.

RE: 990 horses.
The 725 Hp SS is at the crank... figure in 15 % drivetrain loss and you get about 616 RWHP (off the top of my head) and that is very streetable. 990+ though on a DD isn't that illegal? and though anything is possible I doubt it from our cars with the 4.6L motor...
