6hr install time with headers................if your a pro!! It can take much longer than that. Never heard anything bad about mac (I've talked to many people at shows running macs). I wouldnt consider BBK any better had personal friends have issues with fitments b4 on fox bodies, maybe quality has in-proved for S197 parts honestly don't know. From personal experience JBAs fit great but still aren't easy to install.

I'm no mustang guru and don't pretend to be but I have heard that neither long tube headers or shortys will give you much unless you have a supercharger. I have had shops discourage me from buying them and they sell that $hit.

The MACs have problems down the road with the metal cracking from what I hear. [&:]
Shorties are $400 and long tubes are $800-1500. A supercharger is $6,000. It's a little bit of a difference in my opinion.

You're right, dollar cost per hp with headers on S197s is a losingproposition, they don't give you much, but a little is worth it for some of us.
