Wait a second are you asking how to do a brun out in your Mini? I had a 06 Mini S 6 spd. I'm guessing you've got the regular Mini, so supercharger. Don't even bother trying to do a burn out. The Mini was our company car and we raced it in SCCA. On stock tires, it would get really bad torque steer just from a WOT in 1st gear, just letting the clutch out nice and easy. I never tried to roast the front tires in the Mini, but I'm sure it could do it but why do it? Our Mini S got torque steer so bad that it'd throw out the alignment.

Do not ever put your car from N to D like that from a stand still, trying to get it to burn out. That's called neutral dropping and that will drop your transmission as well. Mustangs, even automatics, should be able to burn out from just slamming on the gas from a dead stop. If not, just hold one foot on the brake and one foot on the gas and it'll burn out.

So whats the best way to do a burn out with a manual? I usually have it in first, rev it up and let off the clutch in a fast but very steady manner. I never just let the clutch go. Feel like I might break something.
How 'bout an old fashioned roll back? From a stop, put car in reverse, let car keep rolling slowly backwards and put it in first and punch it.
