It does look nice. I always like the rear window lovers but there were kind of a pain to keep clean underneath so I quit using them.

Looks great!
The silicone is to seal the bracket to the glass to prevent water from degrading the bond of the 3M tape. I used black silicone but it doesn't really matter what color because you can't seethe bracketswhen the louvers are on.

And what brand is 100% alcohol? The stuff in my bathroom is just 70% alc.
They look pretty good. Let us know if they do the job, which was originally to keep it a little cooler on hot days.

Saw you on GO.Net but couldn't reply for some reason.
Are these the 10612 louvers, it dosen't specify aluminum on Amazon.The price is about right though.
They look great! How did you get the brackets to line up correctly, was there a template?
