Default TPMS - where do I have them transferred?

I just called a few tire shops and they all said they can't transfer the sensors. Where do I have this done? Please dont tell me I have to take it to the dealership. (I know I have to buy the straps.)

those tire shops are stupid

You just need a flat screwdriver and the straps.

Take the tire out, with the screwdriver break the the stock strap (by turning the retainer 90 degrees).
Remove the old strap, remove the sensor from the strap, you don't need to remove the sensor from the craddle.
Slide the new strap in.
Trim the new strap at size.
Set the sensor in the opposite side of the pressure valve at the valley the closest possible to the outer face of the rim.

You are ready to go.

I did it myself at the tire shop.

There is a place on the net that has the service manuals of this cars, there is a chapter on the TPMS change.

You can buy a banding toolat most hardware stores or off a tool truck,I was just wondering if a large zip tie would work? all they do is hold it to the wheel. I have some extra sensors so the nexst time I have a chance I will try it. The banding tool I have for c/v boots works.

I used a universal CV joint banding kit for mine, and it works great. Much cheaper than buying a new banding kit as well.
