Get a one-piece aluminum driveshaft. Problem solved!

ge an aluminum driveshaft and it reduces a lot of weight too...but other than that imagine your driveshaft and whenever you put the clutch in goingthat slow and your car bobs forward imagine the driveshaft then compressing causing the two peices to collide and making that aweful noise, lol thats the best way i can explaing it

its somehow a technique, coz one of my friend was with me yesterday and told me that there was a sound between 1st and 2nd,but i told him wait and see i released the clutch slower and give it race a bit and nothing appeared!!

well yea if you release it slower it makes them not collide so abruptly so you cant hear the sound, also when your haulin *** you can't hear it lol

Mine does sometime, it is a technique, Put clutch all the way in and it doesn't do , push it only half down for quick shift it does it.

I have found that the Mustang shifts like a rig, up shiftt 3k rpm's, let the rpms' drop to 2700 and she'll drop right inwith no noise, down shifting she'll drop in any where from 21-1700 rpm's (have not yet pinpointed). of cource this is with a hurst shifter.

Mine does do this, however I figured out how to shift to make it not clunk MOST OF THE TIME. Sometimes it still does clunk and I am very good at driving a manual. I mean that is all I drive

I've got a one-piece and it will clunk too when I get lazy and shift incorrectly.
