Sorry if I misunderstood, I was referring to this bit -

Otherwise, yes I pretty much stuck to the TSB other than I only let them soak for about 10 mins w/o even loosening the plugs.

The only thing I am concerned about in switching my plugs out is which particular Champion plugis recommended for the FI motors as an alternative to the cooler HTO-type ford plugs we run (HTO-type? you know what I mean ).

Ah ok, sorry about the misunderstanding. PB Blaster don't take long! I'd def stick to Autolites if FI'd. I don't know if Champion even makes a colder plug.

Champion does not make a colder heat range one piece plug for our FI cars. I talked to Federal Mogul a few weeks ago and they have no plans on building various heat range plugs. (Not cost effective he said ) So for now the HTO plug is the tried and tested piece even though its of the two piece design. Brisk makes two plugs 3VR17S and 3VR14S. I bought a set of the 3VR14S plugs for my car but still haven't decided to install them yet. They are a heat range colder then the HTO's and I'm not sure yet if that would cause a fouling issue but Brenspeed, Steeda and Brisk all recommened that plug for my car. I'm still searching forums for anybody that has installed that plug and looking for results.
