RE: Which Year of the S197 Mustang GT Would You Buy "Used"?
Several opinions but nobody has voted... Lets make it easy for everyone that is trying to make this too complicated:
2005 GT = 20,000 miles, 20K asking price
2006 GT = 20,000 miles, 20K asking price
2007 GT = 20,000 miles, 20K asking price
2008 GT = 20,000 miles, 20K asking price
Again, which one would you purchase and why?

2007 GT = 20,000 miles, 20K asking price

07+ due to GT500 being built for these changes

From what I hear there were some suspension changes done on the 06+ S197 GTs to make them ride a little smoother. This also added weight to the car, thus making the 2005 a tad bit faster than the other years. I'm not 100% about this though, and I forgot where i read it.

Those would all be very different cars!
The 2005 would be a fair price only if it was a fully loaded Premium GT. The 2007 would be considered a high mileage car. The 2008 would have to be a wrecked car!
I think it would be better to just use the retail blue book price and an average amount of miles for each year so we can compare apples to apples.
That said I would stick with the 2005 (maybe 2006) in one of the discontinued colors, like Sceaming Yellow. They don't have the TPMS.
Of course, there's no option for a 2009 Glassback...[:-]
