You got it. In English it stands for Grand Touring. A GT car is a performance vehicle usually built for comfortable long distance highway driving. It's usually a 2+2 coupe. Mustangs are GT cars NOT Sports Cars. That's not good or bad, it's just a different class of vehicle.
