seems like my old thread got deleted...

but basically, i'll be getting new tires on the stang soon (this week) and i want to do something wider such as 255/45/17.

how will that look? i have an 05 GT with eibach prokit springs.

what other wider tire combos on stock wheels do you guys run? pics would be a great help.

I think you may want to go with 255/50/17 as this will complement your drop very well.

what tires come in that size though and i would perfer to get the them locally

Don't make the same mistake I did and get 245/45/17. The small wheel diamter make for an even bigger fender gap. On a positive note, having a smaller diameter tire is the equivalent to steppping up a gear. I have 4.10s now but because of my tire size I am running the equivalant of a 4.23 gear (I know no such thing) anyway get 255/50/17s or get 18" rims and new tires.

do you have any pictures gman? i think 255/45 may be better than 245/45 but im lowered on eibach prokit so i think it will look OK but im not sure
