Default Anybody else have a problem with the seat back lever?

I have a 2006 GT, see my sig. I have two step kids (my original 3 kids are all grown up, time for round two!) and so we have to move the seat backs in my Mustang quite often. My step son broke the driver side seat back lever, the one high on the back of the seat, a while back. I have not been able to find a replacement. I live in Puerto Rico, and things can be frustratingly slow. So over the weekend my daughter's boyfriend broke the passenger side lever. The darned things are pretty flimsy, really.

Has anyone else had this problem? And does anyoneknow where I can get some replacement parts?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Toad:

I too have an 06. when I bought it secondhand one of them plastic lever ****/covers was gone. I ordered a replacement from mustangs unlimited but a ford dealer can easily order them for you, and probably cheaper, just specify the color. The replacement simply presses back on and clips in. if you envision this being a problem, order some extras.

motor on!

I had the drivers side replaced under warranty.

But here is a chance to make your first million. Make a billet version!

Well i have the same issue, but did find resolve. three options
steraler ship - 35 bucks and continue the problem
or
http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...t-latches.html
or
http://www.innovators.bz/iw_07_003.htm

I went with option 2
