i am planning on taking off the valve covers and possibly the TB and painting. If this was your engine bay, what color would you paint them? I was thinking Ford Blue just cause that is a "classic" color for ford and it would match my Steeda Elbow. OR, would you swap out the Elbow rubber and paint it a different color???

Also, i dont know who suggested cleaning the engine with simple green and coating with F-21 but thank you...i had been cleaning it with that two-in-one engine detailer stuff and it never impressed me. Yesterday, I cleaned with "Orange Blaster" or whatever it is called (comperable to Simple Green) and coated with F-21..havent even wiped it down yet and it already looks damn near new again

I would match the exterior of your stang - you planning on doing other little things blue too?

LOL simple green... i'm in the military and we use simple green for EVERYTHING. even use it for cleaning our weapons... wipe it with simple green, throw it in a shower and bam. done.

Ah yes, the valve cover color quandry with Mineral Gray...Been there, doin it now.....

I had my headers installed about a month ago, in Silver Ceramic Coated....made the valve covers look that much worse....

I just picked up a pair of FRPP Black Powder Coated Valve Covers. My intent is to install them this Saturday. After I am done, I can get you some pics so you can tell how they look with MG....

Yeah, I was planning on maybe doing the fuel rails and that plastic radiator cover (MAYBE), as well as possibly picking up a plenum cover and painting it too...would that be too much?
