swap IUP ac vents for your nonIUP ac vents I pay you and tutorial
I am in the process of blacking out my interior so I matches my blacked out car and I want to get the non-interior upgrade AC registers for my car. I have the interior upgrade AC vents currently.
I want to swap with a v6 owner or non-premium GT owner for their black vents + I pay shipping both ways, just to make this quick I'm also offering a few dollars even after I pay for shipping to the person who didn't buy their car with the interior package. This is a great oppertunity if you have a bassic v6 or GT and want to upgrade. i'm going on vacation in a few weeks so I want to have this finished by then as well as a few other mods as I'm taking the car.
Here's a picture of how the non-I-up vents look:

mine are in spotless condition, with less than 12,000 miles on them as I am very careful about keeping things clean. I hope yours are in good condition.
This isnt a parts for sale so it doesnt go in that section, i would also appreciate if the thread wasnt deleted moderators.
Ive been asked to write a removal tutorial because lots of people have no idea how to remove their AC registers, so this is it, and its there to help show that the process is easy, but this is also here to add to the forum knowlege.
AC Register Removal Guide:
Step 1: Pull on the AC vents away from their bases while gripping around the chrome trim ring. The vents are held on by two plastic pressure tabs that lock into place. They are often very dull on their locking end, so its easy to just pull the vent out. Make sure not to torsion or apply force in any direction but parallel to axis of the vents because the chrome trim ring is held on by plastic tabs and they can break easily.
If the AC vents do not simply pop out it means that the pressure tabs are holding it in too strongly, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Using a screw driver or any flat object and a cloth as pictured, slide the flat object into the large openining in the AC vent, this is the only opening that is close to the centerline of the vent. Put the flat object under the registers pressure tab and pull away from the outside of the register using the flat object. Brace the flat object against the chrome ring but use the cloth to protect the chrome ring. Simultaniously pull out the side you are working on so the vent does not pop back once you release pressure. Repeat for the second side.

Or you could go to your local "rent a car" and just swap them yourself
