Default MUSTANG sticker at bottom of car coming off

Anybody have problems with their vinyl "mustang" sticker.
I have had my car (black w/ white sticker) for two weeks.
I washed my car for the second time last night and noticed the
triangle in the middle of the "A" fell off. Upon further inspection
the "M's" on both sides had their coners peeling off.

I know this is not normal, but how long should these wear?
If it is going to do this again, should I just have them take it off all together?

Opinions?

I pulled mine off, but it was because I didn't like them... never had any peeling problems...

How long did it take you to pull yours off? I was thinking of doing that to mine. I have read up on it around the internet, and it seem simple enough to do. Any advice?

Advice... ignore what you've already read... wait for a warm day 65-70+

Park so the side you are working on is towards the sun...

Wait about 20-30 minutes to let it warm up... I just used my fingernail to carefully pry up one corner of the sticker and then slowly pulled it off... repeat for remaining stickers...

I started with the blow dryer approach... what a waste of time... I guess it took me about 45 minutes to pull them off... but if I wouldn't have started with the blow dryer method, I coulda been done in 15 minutes...

Thanks, I heard about the blow dryer approach and was planning on doing that this weekend. I'm in Texas so the Sun approach should be pretty easy to arrange, not to mention the heat factor will probably be better than the blow dryer.

Did you do anything to remove the sticky junk left behind? cleaners, goo-be-gone, etc etc?

There really wasn't much goo left behind...

most of what was left was a little outline of the sticker... a quick wash (normal car wash soap) and some elbow grease and it was gone... no need for any special cleaner...

Yup... we have a bunch of V6's on our lot and we have replaced a bunch of the Mustang decals like youre talking about because they are so crappy and they rip. Comming off the car carrier 2 of them were messed up... People that buy them have us remove them before they take delivery.
