ok here is the update...i took my front two wheels off and lone behold they both had the ring around one of the studs and my new wheels do not have that recess in them...so i clipped them off and put the wheels back on and it still does it...i havent done the back ones yet but will in like two hours or so...i am about to call american racing though to see if they have any hub rings for these wheels and if so ill get them, i may just have to get them road balanced though...keep the thoughts coming though

I recently put new wheels and tires on mine and had a defective tire that the spin balance didn't pick up. When they RoadForce balanced them, it was obvious one of the tires had a bad belt.

thats what i was thinking, i just ordered the hub rings so if that doesnt fix it ill get them roadforce balanced

Bought my car used about 2 months ago...It has staggered fit 20 inch Boss rims and I too vibrate at certain speeds...Nothing too crazy, it's just annoying and not smooth like it should be...I guess I will start by taking each wheel off and checking for those clip things, and if that doesn't work I will check other things...

yea they are prob on there, also get hub rings...they are free from the manufactorer but pay the shipping...also go road force balance, it will tell you if there is anything wrong with the wheel or tire...i had them rebalance mine with the $10,000 RF balancing machine and it fixed it, my other people's machine just isnt that good i guess

Yea I will do that, thanks...I would hate to prematurely wear down these expensive 20 inch tires earlier than necessary...

I have a small vibration,no retaining clips, so it's time for road force balance.

Road Force balancing is great. Never again will I buy an expensive set of wheels and tires without having it done.

What was wrong with the belts of the tire that you could not see with a balancer or even a visual inspection?
