I personally hate 20" wheels, but with a big enough rear tire, they could at least not look half as silly. I'm curious to know what the largest final diamiter some one has run on a 20" or 19" wheel without bottoming out on the fender liners. If it's big enough I think it would look sick. Post some pics too, that would help me decide on my new tires.

Well not sure of the diameter but a 20" rim with a 40 series tire are being made by Toyo and Nitto now. I love the Nitto Invo's and they have all the diameters of said tires on their website. I think 28.7" or some big number like that...LOL -I will be buying them soon as they only had 30-35 series tires for 20's and I like the taller sidewall. I know others will chime in and they have the 40 series all around and it looks lowered and no rub issues even with a drop! J

Ive got the 19 x 295 x35 and they do not rub Ive also got aset of 305 x18 x 35 nitto drs which still fit nicely. I am lowered with steeda springsand steeda susp.
I went with 19 cause I like the ratio of rim tire a lil better. width wise the 295 fit inside the fenders. heighth wise I am not sur how far up I could go.

I'm thinking of putting 255/40/20 tires on the front and 265/45/20 tires on the rear. That's 27.7 29.4 respectivly as the diamiter. Do you think it will rub with a 1.25 inch drop all around? The stock diamiter is 27.2.

I'm running 18's ( I know it is not exactly what the topic was about ) but I'm running 285/40/18's on the back and I'm dropped with the pro-kit with ZERO rubbing issues, even over big bumps... I personally think 18's with a good 40 series tire fills out the fender beautifully with a drop... all depends on if you want to do suspension work or not... I've personally seen a guy with 20's and 305/(30 or 35 cant remember)/20's... and that looked pretty sweet...

That diamiter is actually smaller than stock.
