Default Survey - Brake Pedal Feel (Booster related)

Hi guys,

I want to conduct a little survey because I'm currently having what I consider a problem with my car (2006 Mustang GT, tad over 10 k miles)

Next time you go to your Mustang, after it has sat for at least 4 hours (but preferably overnight), before you do anything like start the car, just press the brake pedal and tell me if it is soft or hard.

Each time I get in my car after it has sat for several hours, the pedal is rock hard before starting the vehicle. This says to me the vacuum is leaking out, which I consider abnormal. I've never seen this in another vehicle that was operating normally. I took it in to Ford and they said they found no problems and that it is normal for the vacuum to bleed off overnight. I'm having a hard time accepting this. If you could please post your experiences I'd be greatful to know if this is a common condition.

Thanks

Good to know, thanks for your input.

It may be normal, I've just never driven another car like that. My Probe GT is currently sitting out at the farm and the pedal was soft after 3 weeks of inactivity.

If several people report the same, I'll conclude it's nothing to worry about.
