Feel pretty stupid asking this but...
So I just did a mod overhaul and am amazed how powerful this car feels compared to stock. Only thing left to do is put the new Sumitomo's on tomorrow morning but I have an issue.
I can't shift without chirping the tires from a dead stop unless it's completely level road. I've only ever driven a stickshift since I learned how to drive but anyone want to smack their forehead, shake their head, and explain the mechanics of a perfect shift?
EDIT: I know how to shift and the basics of it but with these new 4.10s and the increase in RW HP what rpms do you guys rev to and let the clutch out? Do u ride it somewhat until you're rollin or engage then pop it out?

Eh, the only time it really happens is when I have boots on. I can shift fine all day wearing normal shoes. As soon as I get in uniform and wear the army boots, It goes to ****

Same here, if I have sandals on and I'm about to drive the GT... I just take them off and drive barefoot. My sandals always seem to get hooked on one pedal or the other anyways and that's made for a few scary situations! [:@]
