I bought my 08 GT Premium a couple months ago. The X price is different depending on the area. For example, (not including otherrebates) the x-plan will give $1500 off sticker price here in Texas, but you look at getting $2000 off in California. To find the difference all you gotta do is plug in the right zip code. On top of that discount I got another $2500 off. The price of my GT Premium with Shaker 500, Polished Aluminum 18" wheels, Intererior Upgrade package, 3.55 axle, amoung a couple minor things, for $25,569 or so.

Also, you can probably get another $1-2000 off if you use Ford financing. I got a better rate with my credit so I didnt get the Ford financing.

my gt premium stickered for 31k. X-plan, and incentives brought it down to 26k. for me it was well worth not haggling with the scum at my local dealer. I also used X-plan for my wife's edge. stickered for 35k. after incentives, X-plan paid 28k.

I used the X-Plan as well.. I think it depends on the the Job-To-Ford-Usage to how much you save.. It was worth it to me.. I can't really complain about the Ford dealership i deal with.. I'v bought 2 Mustangs from them.. Compare first, then go back and do compare with the XPlan.. I think you'd be better off going with the Employee pricing and the XPlan..IMO.. Good luck

X-plan is Ford's supplier partner pricing program and is a fixed amount close to or just under invioce and is designed to eliminate haggling for companies and individuals that work with ford.

yea no dice. i don't have enough for a down payment on a new-ish 2008 convertible. hopefully by christmas. methinks vert sales (and prices) on previous model-year cars should be down in the dead of winter.
