Today must have been my lucky day!!! My 20-year-old son sells cars for a Chrysler dealer, which is right next door to a Ford dealer. He called me at work this morning to tell me that he saw a Sonic Blue GT on their lot. He went over and checked it out, and it had every single option on it that I wanted... AND IT WAS NOT SOLD! (It was an from an order where the buyer did not take delivery.) Without a second thought, I was out of my office in about 15 seconds flat and driving the 30 miles to go buy it. They originally wanted $2500 over MSRP, but eventually I got it for sticker.

This car is so sweeeet! I love it!! And I am so glad I chose the Sonic Blue. No offense to anyone else, but I like it the best.

I am so damn happy now!!! I can't stop smiling!

Thanks guys... and yes, I definitely owe my son for this one! He did get the first ride, too. I pulled up in the Chrysler dealer's lot and he hopped in. The other salesmen were oohing and aahing. LOL

First I want to say welcome and I am happy for you. How do you like her so far? Whats funny about this is I went to a Dodge and Chrysler dealer before I finally made up my mind on my new car. The salesman there told me that the GT's were not selling at all. Since I am not a previous Mustang owner, I had no clue. I went back to the Ford Dealer and saw the "Screaming Yellow Roush" just sitting there by herself. Man, did I fall in love at first site. I went home and started to do research on the vehicle and found out the GT is so back ordered that I'd be lucky to own an 06 by Aug. Iwent right back to the dealer that instant and became her owner. Man, I hate when people can't tell the truth. Again welcome to the site, awesome looking car.
