If you are of normal size, i.e. Taco Bill, 2 hours. If you are of Clydesdale size, i.e. me, 4 hours. Also I didn't have the 10mm deep socket needed (I sent Bill a message and he updated the installation instructions). A lift is a WONDERFUL resource. But then I wouldn't know since I only had 2 jack stands and left 3 mm of skin from my back sliding under andout from the car.

how much better is a short throw shifter exactly? thinking about a buying a steeda tri ax (i think thats it?) so how much better is it for everyday driving?
Installed A Hurst( less than an hour) It is more "fun" to drive.
More importantly, the ball is now on the same level as the console, much more of a natural reach. JMO, a round ball is far better than the stock shape.
