Default blowing fuse when plugginf in tuner

ive used my sct tuner hundreds of times and have never had a problem. yesterday i plugged it in and pop...the dash lights went out. called brenspeed and seth told me where to find the fuse and such. did that last nite and everything worked. this morning i plugged my tuner back in and pop. i called seth back and he told i will have to take it to a dealer. ive had my car at the dealer 3 times in the past month and 2 weeks ago had that air bag recall done so i know theyve plugged sumthing in to my obd2 port recently. ive not tried using my tuner since getting my car back. im tired of goin to the dealer wut can i di to fix this problem. i love my car ALOT but damn does the problems ever end.......

Try plugging a scan tool (generic OBDII from Auto Zone or something) into the diag port. If the fuse still blows then there is something wrong with the wiring in the car. If it doesn't blow and the scan tool works, I would say there is something wrong with the SCT. Make sure none of the pins are bent in the female connector.

Yes, as long as it is OBDII compliant it will work to pull codes from the Mustang
