You could probably fix it yourself, but for $25 it's worth it just to avoid the frustration.

thats the same problem i had; paid about the same to get them fixed. get new clamps, too. the original ones are loose enough that they leak a little.

yeah, the clamps look kind of chintzy.

Where is a good place to order some clamps and/or replacement hangers?

I did buy the Pypes violators and all I can say is that its a love/hate relationship. In the morning when I pull out of my apartment the noise is a little much. I tend to make the alarms chirp. And those days you have a headache you wish you could turn down the drone. The drone can get a little loud when driving uphill (1700 rpm range). When its all said and done though I love driving off from a stop and watching the reaction people have when they hear it. Its sounds great. Oh yeah and I had the same types of alignment issues with the violators.

i see brenspeed has some stainless steel hangers, two for $50. american muscle has them for $55. not sure why one would get those except for looks i guess.

i don't know about clamps. i bet most auto parts stores and muffler shops would carry some.

For anyone looking for exhaust clamps : http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS/753274/10002/-1/11527 those are the best I've found. The ones with my boomtubes sucked and these are a LOT better.

Anyone having problems with the hanger touching their mounting bracket on the frame? One of mineshifted (after heating up I assume) and now it is permanently within 1/4" of the bracket and it rattles/vibrates. Any idea how to fix this? I guess bending is possible but how would I go about attempting that?

$50 for two frickin hangers? What is that some sort of sick joke? That's insane. It would cost $100 to replace the factory hangers. [&:]
