I installed my Pypes O/R H with my Borla Stingers, and it trumpets so bad! It's right when it shifts and since i'm in an auto I can't shift around it. It ruins what is otherwise an amazing sound. What can I do, have some high flow cats welded in? Resonators? Or should I just look at some other mufflers.

Resonators. Dynamax makes some good ones I think.

Im surprised to hear that.....everything I have heard about the O/R H and Borlas was a deep clean sound.....now if you want to hear some "real"trumpeting pair that O/R H with some Mac a/b's[:-].....but yeah +1 on the resonators

Im not sure ifresonators willcompletely solve the problem since you have an auto! your gonna hear trumpeting more with an auto. you could try them, butI would look into gettinghi-flow cats..( pypes or bassani ) for the most noticeable difference! BTW a good set of resonators will cost aboutas much as hi-flows!

What do you mean by trumpets? Droning noise in the cabin?
