Those of you with Pypes MidMuffler System
I'm going to be selling my current setup (pypes xpipe w/JBA axlebacks) and going with the pypes mid muffler setup. If you installed it yourself how bad was it? I was gonna do it myself but heard it was a pain. Any thoughts?

It's not that bad. You'll have to put the rear up on jack stands under the frame rails so the axle can hang down. Some have removed the over axle pipes without removing the lower shock bolt, but I went ahead and removed it to get some extra clearance. It is not as simple as installing axle backs. There are move pieces to take off and more pieces to put on and there are many chances to misalign the pipes. I, as did many others, had to bend the rear most hanger on the passenger side, so that the tip would fit correctly in the cutout. A hammer and piece of 2x4 comes in really handing for banging the mufflers onto the first bent pipe and of course banging the over axle pipe onto the back of the mufflers requires the same hammer and board.
It's not that bad, a shop will likely F it up more than you would.

The only part that scared me away from doing it myself was that you may have to remove the lower shock attachments, jackstand the car and then let the rear axle hang down enough to get the over-axle tubes out.
Money well spent letting my shop do it for $100....

Just completed my mid muffler install, No issues at all!!!!! Jack up rear of car, place jack stands under frame rail, allow rear axle to drop and remove over axle factory pipes. No need to remove shock or anything else. My only recomendation is mig weld system in place for final fit up. The supplied PYPES clamps SUCK !!!! Aprox. install tme 1.5 hours.

I have a mig welder at home, so it was easier for me to weld. What I did was use all the band clamps as supplied, but added a 1/2 tack weld at each location. I didn't completly weld each joint. The only two area's that really need the welds are the over axle joints at the rear. all other clamps worked OK. If the rear joints aren't tack welded the tips will become out of alig. and cause the S/S tips to touch the body and burn the paint off under the bumper exhaust cut outs. Which happened to me!!! Also drive about two miles after install and check alig. of S/S tips again and re-tighten all clamps again.
