You would need like a 250 shot if you wanted to make it in the 12s. And that isn't exactly the safest thing.

That, plus gears, intake, tune and some DR's with at least 250 shot. By then, with that much though, boom!!!

Unless you went H/C/I Tune, and all Supporting mods, then you can do it N/A from being bone stock.

With supporting mods (tune, CAI, gears, LSD, tires), you can reach mid-to-low 13's with only a 100-shot. There have been a few members here & elsewhere who have done it. One I can think of off-hand is in the high 12's, but he may be running a 125-shot. That's about as high as you should go, and even then you'd better have a proper dyno tune, window switch, etc. That 4.0L will go POP otherwise.

The quickest N/A 4.0L runs 13.8's. Head & cams can be done, but no one has ET'd their h/c 4.0L with results to brag about.

There are several great options for FI (superchargers and turbos), which will put you into the 12's without breaking a sweat. It only takes money.

Lasso a Z06 and have him drag you down the strip. Without FI or [a lot of] spray you ain't gonna get there otherwise

Now, what type of mods does that N/A 4.0 have that runs 13.8's? Full bolt-ons I presume?
