Use the covers so you can take them off... if not.. just drive with the center fogs on.

I need to have my center fog lights on to drive at night. The Lund headlight covers block out most light. Even with the brights on (which turns off the fogs) it's not bright enough.
If i were driving unfamilar roads with no street lights or traffic I would always remove them.
