Tell the landlord when he fixes the drive you will remove the ramp.
I guess he could have explained "HOA"; HomeOwnersAssociations can make life miserable, even when they are wrong, wrong, wrong. No point in riling them up.

Meanwhile, there are materials lighter than steel and plenty strong for his purposes. Matter of finding them in the right shape and size. I'd check around for truck loading ramps and correspond with the manufacturers. I see lots of ramps at autocrosses and drag races. Surely there is a brand name out there.

put down some cement and call it a day!!!
I like this idea, cut four pieces of plywood to match the contour of curb on bottom, and the pitch needed for your car to get up on top.
Thenget some 2 to 2 1/2 inch black abs pipe cut to length for width of ramp, then cut in half length wise put open end down, then put concrete on top and form a ramp.
You would probably want top put down plastic or something, to keep it from sticking.
Also youmay want to do it at 3am, under the cover of darkness.LOL

You might be better off to raise the car a little or move. It sounds like you can't win the fight.

my drive way is really bad, my brother scuffed his bumper real bad when we first moved in. the trick is coming down at an angle. it works well but my dad is afraid to get a GT/CS chin because of our drive.

EXACTLY why I haven't lowered my car yet. My CDC spoiler looks like crap as it is w/o any lowering yet and the 20's give the car a decent stance. I would have lowered my car ages ago but I'm not sure if I want to deal with curbs, speedbumps and the like. I now have 24k miles and the suspension is loosening up considerably so it's about time to make that decision. Figured i would get my money's worth out of the stock parts (at least 25k miles) before chunking the change, which is about $2k I plan for springs/shocks/camber plates/upper/lower lca's.

Let's see here...

Not a gated community, but the HOA is strict - you can't even park in the street at night or have weeds for more than 2 days before they fine you!

I can't take it at an angle...been there, tried that - have the paint scrapings to prove it!

Can't lay cement or asphault - already asked and got the, "You want to do what with my daughter?" reaction!!!

I have looked around the web a bit and can only find curb ramps that are set a a 90 degree angle...I need actual ramps. The dimensions would be about 12 inches wide by 26 inches long.

Still lookin'...
