No what I want to see is a video of launching or retrieving the boat!
Agreed, launching and retrieving could be aproblem, depending on the ramp.
But why would you willingly dunk your car into salt water, that stuff will eatit up.

Certainly we have the power to pull load but I'm not sure the frame is built to handle it. If I recall from memory (can we say alzheimers?), the published capacity is 1000 lbs. I've been hauling bass boats and campers with my SUV's for years and even then I managed to damage a frame due to an over-the-limit tongue weight.

Good observation, never thought about the frame being the weak point!

I would just get a few friends and put it on the roof of the car. It sounds like it's heavy enough that you won't even need to tie it down.

Like a couple of guys have stated watch the tongue weight, the tongue weight is the weight that will be where it connects to the vechicle at the hitch. I too would like to see a picture if you decide to do this.

I wouldn't try it. Had a friend that thought his Jeep was "Big enough" to tow a boat. Well mother nature made him know differently. The wind picked up the boat and the Jeep when he had to make an emergency manuver. Almost lost his life. Never tow more than the manufacturer recommends............
