I've had Astra's on for about a year now. They hold on to at least 120mph (probably more) and touchless car washes fine. The key is letting the mounting brackets cure before installing the louvers.

I'm thinking about getting the astra hammonds. Anyone wanna sell me theirs? Also I was reading on another forum about speed rating. How fast can you go with these, or were they just talking about something inconsequential?

I am looking to install some louvers on the smaller side windows. The majority of the ones I have found apply using tape or some kind of foam. Anybody installed these? I am wondering if they will fall off or loosen up at faster speeds. Any suggestions would help.

Lots of people on here have installed this kind of quarter window louvers. They use very good tape that won't come off as long as you do a good job cleaning the area they stick to. Most of them come with a special cleaner you use before applying the tape. I have had this kind of louvers for over a year now, and haven't had any problems.

My rear window louvers have been on for about 2,000 miles. My quarter window louvers have been on for about 17,000 miles.

IMO, as retro as rear window louvers may look, I think they look "OK" at best in very specific applications. As far as rear quarters, ROUSH, I have em' and I really like em'.

I ordered the MRT louvers but they arived damaged so FEDEX has them back and I am waiting. Wonder how long this will take. The big question is matte black, gloss black, or candy apple red like my GT?
