Thoughts on my new Mustang setup
Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself first. Name is Jason, from Houston, TX. Got a divorce recently and replaced her with a 2008 Mustang GT CS. Here's what I've done to this beauty so far:
1) AiRaid CAI kit, remove the restricter sleeve on the MAF for increased air flow
2) DiabloSport Preda Tuner tuned to the default AiRaid tune, but increased MAF curve 5%, WOT Fuel 3%, and parka advance 3%...oh and of course I removed speed limiter.
Just purchased:
1) Steeda S197 Underdrive pulley
2) Adjustable clutch pedal stop
3) Steeda Sport shifter assembly
4) Steeda charge motion plates
5) Steeda 8.8" 3.73:1 ring and pinion
6) Urethane bushings for the sport shifter
Am thinkinh about a larger capacity throttle body abd spacer, like the one off the Shelby Cobra.
Also thinking about going a bit further and replacing the cams and crankshaft but not sure if I want to tear inside the engine to do this.
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts on my setup thus far and any additional bolt-on recommendations I could make. I love this car and want her to be the best she can be.
Thanks guys. Hope to hear back from some fellow enthusiasts!

I'm actually in Kingwood...
We have a few of us up here 3-5 who get together regularly with our Mustangs. Friday nights at Conn's on 45/Spring Cypress is a cool muscle car get together we frequent.
PM me if you guys want to set up a Houston meet one weekend in the future!

Forget the throttle body. The stock one is good past 500rwhp. The only one that I haven't really heard of problems with is the GT500 one, and again, you won't see any advantage with it. Your intake has a smaller MAF than a lot of the ones out there, so you definitely wouldn't see a difference.
I definitely recommend lower control arms with poly bushings and a CHE k member brace with engine torque limiters. A one-piece drive shaft would probably be the next step.
