Installed my Champion spark plugs last week...
I've never even changed oil on any car I've owned so I was nervous about tackling a job like this. I didn't want to spend over $100 bucks for someone else to do it so I did a lot of research and ended up doing it myself.
I bought all of the tools necessary which included, sockets, nickel anti-sieze, aero-kroil, diaelectric grease for the COPs, gapper, etc...
I took my time and everything came out perfect!! The only issue I ran into was dropping the battery cable nut UNDERNEATH the battery holder which led to me romoving everything to retrieve it...grrr (my careless fault).
Once I put everything back together, I started the car up and it took a few seconds and then it started. After the initial startup the car actually starts faster than it used to - not that it really matters or anything. Car runs exceptional and no issues so far **fingers crossed**
I followed every instruction from the TSB to the T (amongst other references I found online) and it went flawless - let me know if you have any questions and don't be afraid to do this yourself.

champion 7989's are the only 1 piece plug for the mustang in the stock heat range. I think Brisk makes a 1 piece that is 1 or 2 heat ranges cooler. I got mine from Summit for about $13 per plug

Glad you had success in changing your plugs. Nice job.
I have about 3000 miles on my Champions and no issues whatsoever. I took the car on a 500 mile round trip about 2 weeks ago and it ran flawless. Best drive I've ever taken.

I'm not sure the rebate is still available though. As of now, Champion is the only 1-piece stock repleacement and so far they're excellent.
