Is there a VSS wire in the cabin anywhere or only at the ECU?
Is there a VSS wire in the cabin anywhere or only at the ECU?
I need to tap that for a DVD Nav system and it is mega pain to get through the firewall.
Anyone have a clue?

I wouldn't call it easy, you have to remove the tire and wheel well shroud.
It is doable yes but not easy.
It is the way to go if there is no wire in the cabin, I need it also for my D3 install.

Hmmm thanks Matt.
I will have a look at that tomorrow.
I was working on this lastnight and I was thinking of the big grommet on the passenger side.
I removed the battery and battery box to try and get to that one but no go.

You were right when you said the unit has a lot sound options, that was most of my issues with sound. [8D]
Now thatI got the old calibration out of the unit I love how good this thing works.
I was thinking of picking up an XM tuner with the NavTraffic now.
170 channels and instant traffic reports sounds good.
Do you have it by chance, if so do you like it?

Nope ... I just have the iPod cable .... I have about 3000 songs on my iPod and around a dozen movies ..... and still another 60GB of empty space ....
