RE: 18-20'
21 years old, in my name and live in SA, TX. I pay 576 every 6 months for full coverage. When i had my 04 v6 vert before i got my 07 gt coupei was playing 606 every 6 months. To an insurance company a mustang is a sports car no matter the engine size. When I was going to buy a gt500 the insurance was only going to be 610 every 6 months. A vert option will had more to insurance than a 2 cylinder bolt on. but some people just don’t understand that. That’s why i hate to see people say they bought a v6 to say on insurance. When i was buying my gt i thought about a 07 v6 and the insurance on that was 551 every 6 months. a huge difference of 25 bucks or 4.16 per month...and the gas is only 2 mpg or 30 more miles on a full tank...

RE: 18-20'
I have a 100% clean driving record (not even a speeding ticket) and I'm kind of old (was 21 when looking for the quotes, compared to you 18 to 20 year olds) and when asked about insurance on a GT, the insurance lady laughed and said "You don't even want to know."
21 year old, clean driving record me was looking at something like $7000 a year by myself for insurance on a GT.
I ended up with a V6 on my pop's insurance policy at around $2200 per year. For a V6. Bastards.
