Washing a convertible

Never having owned a convertible before, is it possible to run a vert through a brushless car wash, or is the pressure too high for the top?

I have run my 02 through one and it forced water through the top ot the pillar where the top connects to the roof.

MY LAST 3 CARS NEVER SAW AN AUTO CAR WASH...ALL OF EM GET HAND WASHED....ITS BETTER THAT WAY....

It's usually fine, I know people that do it....but I think you're crazy to do it. I'm on my second convertible, first Mustang....and I don't even think about it! Hand wash it....don't take the chance!

Thanks! You can bet it'll never see the inside of a car wash. I wasn't fortunate enough to order an '05, so I'm waiting for the order guide to come out for the '06 and I'll have my order in that very day.
