Default RE: Turbocharger

I did not know that I have have read and seen some 4.6 mod motors not hold up (turbo and S/C) with 8 lbs of boost! Many factors decide this....sure I have about 11 psi but I am well aware of the weakest point in our motors and thats the rods. You are only as strong as your weakest link IMO and the weakest link at 6 psi or 13 psi can give way and the motor is toast....what should be considered with any type of FI on a stock from the factory motor (not forged) is the amt of money it will take to replace your motor as it has been debated many times and it is more a matter of when the motor will blow and not the amt of boost. Some have lasted years at high boost and some a low boost lasted a month.... take that for what it worth and its just an FYI
ORIGINAL: Caution

didn't know that

ORIGINAL: Black Mamba GTT

The LS2 can only handle 6 lbs of boost after that it will not hold up. The 4.6 can handle about 10-13.
