The proper way is to actually REMOVE the hood scoop, lay the stripes down, then install the scoop again. Both ways look good in my opinion. I just prefer the way it kind of gives it a pattern when the scoop isn't striped. Very nice looking cars here btw.
P.S: For those who are wondering, my stripes are 2 inches apart.

I really do dig the torch red with white stripes combo. Anytime I see a solid torch red coupe it just looks naked without them. I'm not so big on the black ones, though, unless it's a single hood stripe with a rear blackout panel.
