Default All Season Driving

Those of you that live where Winter comes; Snow, road salt, etc. Are you planning on driving your Mustang all year long or garaging it for the winter?

I ordered my GT 3 weeks ago and have a tenative delivery date for sometime in July. This car will be my daily driver and I live in Chicago. I would also like to know from someone who has driven the new mustang in the snow. If it doesnt do that well with the stock tires, I plan on getting new rims and a good set of winter tires. Thanks in advance.

I am serious about the question. I live in the Chicago area too. At first I was thinking my Mustang would be my daily car. If you have it drive it. No matter the weather. But now I'm thinking I should keep my 98 escort to drive in the winter. So I am interested in what you other guys are planning on doing.

Unless you are strapped for the cash, I would find a way to keep the Escort for those snowy Chicago days! I'm just shooting blind here on value so no offense but keeping the Escort and NOT crashing the Stang in the snow will be worth SO much more than the $3-4K you'd get out of it!

And depending on your insurance company, you can insure the car for only 8 months and save some there.

My car will never see any of the snow that falls here in Ohio.
