Mixing styles and tributes what's everyone's thoughts?
So I am bored at work right now and figure I would throw up a topic for discussion. What is everyone's opinion on mixing styles and or tributes on their S197s from Mustangs past and present. Example: Using a chin spoiler (Boss), w/ a honeycomb trunk panel (Mach 1), w/ center mount fogs (Shelby), and finally a Roush rear spoiler. I guess the same could be said for picking a different front, rear and side skirts for a body kit from different manufacturers, but it isn't really the same since most of these types of aftermarket products are not modern day reproductions of classic styles.
So what does everyone think, is it ok to mix and match pieces that have a retro styling or a bastardization of a past icon? Should you just pick one tribute style if you are going for a modern retro look and stick w/ it or can you pick and choose w/o fear of angering the car gods?

Your Car, I say do as you wish, those that bitch that you're a poser or whatever, well they can Suck it IMO. Because Opinon's are like @$$holes, everyone has one.
You work for it, you paid for it, you make it your own!

Well when I had my Mustang I had a bunch of different things going on with it, (not sure if this is what you mean) but I had like 7 different kits on it. Made it very unique. But here are a couple of pics of it.

ORIGINAL: boochy
I have a Shelby GT500 spoiler, and a Roush hood scoop. I think a lot of people on here mix and match.

Yeah, dude, I think you can design it how you want as long as it looks nice who cares where the parts come from or what they were meant to represent. Just don't rename your car something stupid like boss+mach=Bach Tribute. Or something gay like that...
